No apps are required to install for remote assessment, the remote user will simply be sent a text message which opens a link in there web browser. When the webpage opens, the phone will ask for permission to use their camera, once granted you can view their phones cameras and provide instructions over a speakphone call.
The quality of the image provided during a video call is much lower than a still photo from the camera and is highly dependant on the quality of the internet connection.
